Israel firm to start direct Flights from Tel Aviv to Entebbe, construct a Hotel at the source of the Nile

Direct flights between Tel Aviv, Israel's second most populous city—after Jerusalem and Entebbe are expected to commence after due diligence process, Israeli Ambassador to Uganda has said.
Bilateral co-operation between Uganda and Israel, currently encompasses agriculture, postharvest technologies, animal husbandry, water management, and health and homeland security. Israeli companies are also active in infrastructural development and the services industry in Uganda.

One of the most taunting and stressing experiences that travelers from Israel to Uganda have had to endure is going through connecting options between routes, which is both time-consuming and costly. However, this challenge is soon to be resolved.
"Following your visit here, Iam more than happy to express the interest of one of the leading business family in Israel: Noiman which for more than 40 years has participated in building our Nation and keeps doing it till today as you saw while on your visit to the Noiman Family office at the top of the business capital Tel-Aviv", Nir Gess, Tourism Uganda Goodwill Ambassador based in Tel Aviv said during a meeting he had with Hon Godfrey Kiwanda.

According to africatembelea, Noiman Group is looking at establishing low cost regular return flights from Entebbe to Tel Aviv and construction of an attractive Hotel at the source of the Nile in Jinja.
"We are engaging our friends from Israel so as to start direct flights from Tel Aviv to Entebbe. This will enhance mutual cooperation, majorly in the areas of trade and tourism," Hon Godfrey Kiwanda, State Minister for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities said.
Israeli diplomatic ties with Uganda, which thrived in the 1960s, collapsed in 1972, when President Idi Amin expelled Israelis living in Uganda.
